How we set project fees

The full engagement fee depends on three things: how many areas of the business we are working on, how many people are involved, and how long the implementation phase runs. A single-focus project (for example, rebuilding your sales pipeline) with a small team typically falls at the lower end of the range. A multi-area engagement covering finance, operations and sales for a 50-person company sits at the higher end.

We quote a fixed fee after the diagnostic phase, once we know exactly what needs to happen. You will never receive an invoice for more than the agreed amount unless you ask us to expand the scope mid-project, in which case we agree the additional cost in writing before any extra work begins.

Performance-linked pricing

For full engagements, we offer a variant where 20 to 30 per cent of our fee is contingent on hitting the measurable targets defined in the planning phase. If we hit every target, we earn the full fee. If we fall short, the contingent portion is reduced proportionally. This model works well when the targets are clearly quantifiable: revenue growth, cost reduction, cycle time improvement. It does not work as well for softer outcomes like leadership development, where measurement is harder to pin down.

Payment terms

The diagnostic fee is payable upfront. For full engagements, we invoice 50 per cent at the start of implementation and 50 per cent on completion. Retainer fees are invoiced monthly in advance. We accept bank transfer and provide itemised invoices with full VAT details.
